In a time when Zihuatanejo used to receive more than 10 daily national and international flights per day, some native people started to run small businesses with the purpose of settling a better quality of life for their families.
One lady who was part of this group was Mrs. Asención Torres, better know in town as “Doña Chencha”, who at the end of 1977, built three small rooms in an ocean view lot owned by his husband Mr. David Hernández (†).
The couple visualized since then, the potential of Zihuatanejo as a prime touristic destination hence the success of their project.
As years went by, the transition of the small Casa Adriana to a 13 rooms hotel was possible thanks to the integrated working efforts of their whole family.
This actual result has become an extraordinary trip fulfilled of memories, experiences and good friends; for this reason, we invite you to share your oldest photos on Social Media including the hashtag #CasaAdrianaMemories to help us to make a compilation of our history.
